The Canelobre Cave near Busot is one of Spain’s largest caves, with a volume exceeding 80,000 cubic meters. Additionally, it is one of the most visited caves in the Valencian Community due to its impressive formations. From the cave entrance, visitors enjoy panoramic valley views stretching toward the coastal town of El Campello. Access to the Canelobre Cave is directly from Busot, making it a key attraction for tourists.
During the Spanish Civil War, the caves were used for building and repairing essential aircraft engines. Later, the Canelobre Cave opened to the public in 1965 and remains a major destination today.
