Benejúzar is a town in the Vega Baja del Segura region within Alicante province on Spain’s Costa Blanca.
The municipality covers 9.3 square kilometres and offers a peaceful Mediterranean lifestyle close to surrounding countryside.
According to the 2005 census, Benejúzar had 5,249 residents living in this traditional Spanish community.
The local economy is mainly based on agriculture, especially lime farming across the fertile Vega Baja fields.
The town’s most important monument is the Virgen del Rosario church, built in 1611 and beautifully preserved today.
